Anybody out there want to spin at EXPO?

EXPO is less than 5 weeks away. Anybody out there want to spin at EXPO?

We've arranged to have six trainers as last year and I will be looking for people to spin and to help with registrations.

For those of you who are new, and as a reminder to those of you who may have forgotten, we registered ~ 160 for tour at EXPO last year. I think we had ~ 15-16 cyclists spin. It was great fun and a very successful TdC recruiting event. As in previous years, this will be BYOB No, no, no no .....  Tami and David!! It's bring your own bike!

The format will be slightly different this year. I will still be asking people to fill 1/2 hour time slots (you can ride more), but the ADA staff working on EXPO are thinking about having three stations/locations of two trainers each (One inside ADA World, One inside the Kids area and one within the Bicycle Village area). These plans are not definte and could change.

If you are interested in spinning and/or volunteering at EXPO, please call me (303.514.5557). It will be easier to tell you what times are available via a phone conversation, rather than having all those who are interested, email me with your requests. No calls after 8PM please, as I am awake at 4AM.

FYI, EXPO is March 7, 2009, 9AM to 4PM.

Web site complete!

I have had the pleasure of building this interactive web site for Red Riders Colorado.

The web site gives all Red Riders in Colorado, and around the country, a place to come for the latest Red Rider news and information. As a bonus, it also provides a place for fellowship through the online discussion forums.

Red Riders Colorado is the next evolution of the Red Rider concept started here in Colorado at the 2007 Tour de Cure by Mari Ruddy. In 2008 the Red Rider concept was picked up by the American Diabetes Association which piloted the concept in several tours around the U.S. The Red Rider concept is slated to be part of all Tour de Cure fund raising events nation wide in 2009!
